NordicFuzzCon 2025

In our fandom are many creatures and animals that people use as fursonas or draw inspiration from when creating their own. In line with the theme of NordicFuzzCon – Spirits of the Zen Garden – several of these "spirits" also serve as sources of inspiration.
Whether it’s the snake, the cat, the badger, the dragon, or mythical creatures like the feathered Tengu (a furry on its own!), we’ll take a closer look at these beings. We’ll explore their meanings and history in Japanese culture to understand how these creatures came to hold such supernatural significance.
