Low-latency choreo: filming action movies in VRChat
2025-02-21 , HL3

Do you play VRChat? Would you like to film a sick bar fight or action sequence in it? Step right in to learn how!

The Low-latency choreo is a method developed by SYNC studios to record action and fight scenes in the popular VR game VRChat. Latency is a big hurdle into trying to make any scene fluid and with all actors acting on time, which can make complex scenes like a fight, a chase, or just a coordinated dance choreo seem impossible inside VRChat. In this panel, we will give a crash course into the Low-latency choreo method. Explaining the material and assets needed, how the system works, how to set up the actors, and the many uses of this method.
