Don't miss the fuzzy retelling of Puccini's masterpiece opera, Madama Butterfly, featuring a stellar fursuited cast of singers and dancers, with choreography by Nimalen, and a live orchestra ensemble directed by Vozzy the Fox. Directed by Chester The Geroo.

Nagasaki, Japan, at the turn of the 20th century: After an opening chorus "We Are Gentlefurs of Japan", Sharpless (Chester the Geroo), American consul & Lord High Executioner, spells out who he'd not mind beheading if he only had the chance, in the aria from Gilbert & Sullivan's operetta The Mikado, "I've Got A Little List". U.S. Navy officer Benjamin Pinkerton (Dan the Singing Tiger), discusses adventure and marriage with Sharpless, in the duet "Quale smania vi prende". Lovely maidens catch their attention in the trio "Three Little Maids". Pinkerton meets the beautiful geisha Madama Butterfly (Sanji) and they profess their love in the duet, "Vogliatemi bene".

At Butterfly and Pinkerton's wedding reception, their guests perform the opera scene "Maria and Draco" from Final Fantasy VI. Soon after the wedding, Pinkerton is re-assigned and leaves Japan. As Butterfly waits three years for his return, she sings the famous soprano aria, "Un bel di vedremo". Pinkerton, returning with an American wife named Kate, is too cowardly to reveal the truth to Butterfly, in the trio "Io so che alle sue pene non ci sono conforti". As Pinkerton, Sharpless, Butterfly and Kate struggle to contend, the audience joins the ensemble singing in a humming chorus, "Coro a bocca chiusa".
